I'm it...I'm it! I love being it!! What is 'it'? Well my sweet friend Mary has tagged me with picture tag.
Here are the rules.....go into your photo folder and post the 4th picture on your computer and without editing, cropping, red eye removal or color adjustment...post it! Scary! I never...I mean never post a picture without some type of editing. I have to say my heart dropped for a second wondering what the picture might be.....how lucky did I get! Then you are to explain what was happening....
so here we go!
This was Aubrey back in December 2006. Dell had taken his annual after Christmas field trip to Oklahoma to donate/give his money for a little poker. So, that left us girls {and Cody} home for a fun night of putting together a 500 piece puzzle. It never fails that when spend countless hours {and I mean HOURS} putting a puzzle together you finish and end up with a holy picture because you have lost several pieces. We were close to being done and Aubrey screams....'I lost it'! Great, why even bother at this point, I thought! When I looked up at her with disappointment I realized she meant her tooth! That toothless smiles is my favorite!
You can see a small band aid on her face...she had just had a small cyst removed. We had passed that fabulous stomach bug around our house that entire week before Christmas. It started with one person, then 2 days later.... another and two days later ....another.....you get the picture. Aubrey held out strong and had not gotten it...yet! But now it was her turn to get it and if she where to came down with it, it would be on the day of her surgery. With lots of prayer and a lot more Lysol she made it through ...she won the award for being the sole survivor.
But because this is my blog I changed the rules up some...after all it is my blog! I had my memory card from my camera so I thought I would post the 4th pictures from there.....
This is one that I cannot delete off my memory card....probably my favorite ever pictures!
Dell takes the girls to the annual Daddy Daughter Dance every year around Valentines Day. They break the dances down by age group so Dell gets the opportunity to take them each to their own dance. Yes, that is about 4 hours of dancing in one night. The girls LOVE this night and spend hours looking for the right dress and hours getting ready for the BIG night. This is Dell between dances...dropping Aubrey off and heading back out for dance #2 with Ashlyn. I'm, guessing this was back in 2005...Aubrey 6 years old and Ashlyn 8.
Rules are rules.....so I am tagging a few more people....don't let me down!
